How to Choose the Right Supermicro NVIDIA® GPU Server
Supermicro NVIDIA® GPU and coprocessor solutions help elevate your high-performance computing capabilities. By leveraging GPU offloading, you free up system resources and ensure consistent server performance.
Another way NVIDIA® GPU servers can benefit your company is by lowering power consumption. The workload sharing between the GPU and CPU reduces the power needed to perform tasks and reduces the time your processors are running at maximum capacity.
The Supermicro NVIDIA® GPU systems are powerhouses with up to 6TB of memory in 24 DIMM slots, dual Intel® Xeon® processors, and an integrated Redfish LAN. The GPU SuperServer® also comes in various form factors, including 1U, 2U, 4U, 4U Tower, and 10U.
Whether you need your server for AI, HPC, finance, media, or anything else, our team of engineers can help you customize your build to fit your needs. Talk to a Servers Direct engineer to find the right blend of performance and capacity today.
1U GPU Server
The 1U server is the standard for the 19-inch server rack and is the most portable, and arguably easiest to maintain, of the form factors. Its versatile, small form factor packs a lot of power with capacity for dual CPUs, up to 4TB of memory, and up to 16 GPUs.
2U GPU Server
The 2U server is 3.5 inches high and is double the 1U server’s height, which gives you more space for computing power and storage capacity in one box. The 2U server has excellent performance density and is common in data centers and enterprise applications.
4U GPU Server
The 4U form factor is 7 inches high and is an excellent option for organizations that require expandability. The additional space provides room for more GPUs, power capacity, and storage drives than its 1U and 2U counterparts.
4U GPU Tower Server
The 4U rack-mountable tower provides an interesting combination of flexibility and modularity to serve your unique needs. These powerful systems support Intel® Xeon® processors, up to 4TB of memory, and up to 16 GPUs.
10U GPU Server
The 10U form factor is a robust, self-contained rack server. To support its increased capacity and deliver best-in-class performance, the 10U server is built with a minimum of 2 CPUs, 512 GB of memory, and 16 GPUs.
